Saturday, November, 9th in a solemn ceremony, Matthias Kramer received his PhD degree from the hands of the president of Dublin City University (DCU).
Matthias is one of very few students who conducted their entire academic education with ESB Business School, earning a Bachelor’s degree in Außenwirtschaft in 2004 and a Master’s degree in International Business Development in 2006. Afterwards Matthias was working for several years first in the ESB Research Institute, and then in the RRI (Reutlingen Research Institute) on different projects while simultaneously preparing his PhD thesis which was jointly supervised by Prof. Dr. Hermann Lassleben from ESB and Dr. Melrona Kirrane from DCU.
Matthias received the Reutlingen University’s prize for outstanding performance in research in 2010. He is author of several conference contributions (e.g. Academy of Management Conference 2009) and has published in renown journals (e.g. in Technovation). He currently works as an Innovation Consultant for mantro.net GmbH and lives in Munich together with his wife Andrea.
